Orton Gillingham – Multisensory and Academic Tutoring (Providing best results for children who have not shown improvement with traditional tutoring programs): Overseen by Dr. Scott Greenfield, we will now be offering multisensory tutoring for students challenged in literacy and writing. Originally designed for dyslexics, Orton Gillingham is a highly specialized methodology aimed at improving decoding, phonetics, comprehension and writing. The practice of incorporating auditory, visual and kinesthetic instruction has been shown to greatly improve learning over conventional tutoring methods. Our academic tutoring track prepares students for the Common Core Curriculums (English/Math/Science).
